Despite having been a long time member of YTMND, Lima had only produced 2 sites as of January 2007, a poorly rated Khan site about a CNN News article, and a 3 starred/3,000+ viewed site using the Price is Right failure horns to point out the thousands of busses NOT used to evacuate people from New Orleans prior to Hurricane Katrina, despite the Mayor's later call for buses from the Federal government.  The picture used was of hundreds of buses in a flooded parking lot shortly after the storm which could easily have been used.

Synopsis

YTMND user Lima has been an active YTMND community member since August 10th, 2005 7:52:40 PM, spending a great deal of time fairly critiquing sites. In addition to creating a few sites of his own, Lima has participated, since 2005, in the YTMND Forums on an irregular basis, and was noted to have several lengthy disputes with Inkdrinker.

I am likely a YTMNDer

Lima is the older brother of YTMND user tomglima and is a member of the 5,000 Votes Club.

Favorite Sites

Lima's absolute favorite site is the The YTMND Conference 1945. He has long felt that this site should be included in the Hall of Fame, and has long lobbied in support of it[4], including donating $5.00 to the site. User and creator InfinityDuck has thanked Lima for his continued support of what Lima considers to be a YTMND masterpiece.

Basic Philosophy

Any site that has a significant amount of effort put into it, should get a 3, according to Lima. Exceptions to this rule pertain to awful sites, overdone or replicated sites, and sites made by users who show a gross misconduct in their treating of fellow community members.

Aside from voting 1's on awful sites, Lima's most common vote is a 4, reflecting his generosity towards effort and quality in a YTMND.

To date (1/17/07), Lima hath voted accordingly:

* 2207
** 344
*** 571
**** 1739
***** 302

*FAV!* 35

Average Rating: A DEAD EVEN 2.53
Vote Total: 5163

The 5 Star rating should be reserved only for the best of sites, in Lima's opinion. "Any further use, including upvoting, decries the very meaning of a 5 star vote."

YTMND Notoriety

Despite having been a long time member of YTMND, Lima had only produced 2 sites as of January 2007, a poorly rated Khan site about a CNN News article, and a 3 starred/3,000+ viewed site using the Price is Right failure horns to point out the thousands of busses NOT used to evacuate people from New Orleans prior to Hurricane Katrina, despite the Mayor's later call for buses from the Federal government. The picture used was of hundreds of buses in a flooded parking lot shortly after the storm which could easily have been used.

Lima's third, and breakout site, came on the night of January 17th, 2007, when, while he was creating this wiki-user article, his new Barrel Roll - Sega - PTKFGS parody jumped to the Up and Coming and, in the early morning hours, the Top 15. Later on the 18th, the site moved to, and held by a wide margin, the number 2 spot, behind multi-month first placer How to Prank a Telemarketer.

Lima, who previously has been notorious for getting into disputes with trolls and downvoters, proceeded to send private messages and site comments to anyone leaving nonsensical, downvoting comments on his site.

For example, when the user BallDeVito 1 starred Lima's new Top 2 site and left the comment, "wth your[sic] not lina," Lima replied with the following statement, which fully captures his views on YTMND towards idiocy:

Subject: I'm not Lina? - A response to your're[sic] poignant comment.

"Yes, I am aware of the fact that I am not Lina, who is the legal counsel and one of the lead staff members of YTMND.

I am Lima, a 2005er who focuses on fair site critique and commentary, such as NOT randomly dishing out 1's to sites when effort has been employed.

Thank you for pointing out this fact of which I was previously aware.

Sincerely, Lima

P.S. I believe you have my stapler."
