SmittyJoe, though relatively unknown to the YTMND world, is known to himself, and since he is known to himself, he can't ignore himself. On the contrary, since nobody else knows that I know that they know, they can ignore me, so I'll continue not knowing if they know. Since they know I don't know, that makes me invisible, and since I'm invisible, I'm slightly better than the average bear.
