Before inventing Moon Man, was a throughly unremarkable bigot who made a bunch of really lame fad sites. He hasn't changed much.

The Moon Man fad was created on May 31st, 2007 by YTMND user farkle. The original Moon Man site featured an animated GIF of

former McDonald's mascot Mac Tonight, playing the piano along to the popular fad song

"Macarron Chacarron" by El Chombo. While the fad originally started out with Moon Man jamming out to YTMND fad music on his piano, the

majority of Moon Man sites feature him talking using AT&T Labs Text To Speech (the

official Moon Man voice is AT&T Mike) and often features a long chanting of "KKK!"

Fad History (all sites not made by farkle are credited with links to the users)

November 24, 2006 - The first site to use the GIF of Mac Tonight is created. Credit goes to

MurdarMachene.

May 31, 2007 - First farkle Moon Man site is created.

June 1, 2007 - First Moon Man site to feature [http://public.research.att.com/~ttsweb/tts/demo.php AT&T Labs

Text To Speech]. This site used the voice AT&T Crystal instead of the standard AT&T Mike voice.

June 2, 2007 First Moon Man site to feature AT&T Mike.

June 2, 2007 - First Moon Man site NOT made by farkle (technically the MurdarMachene one is the first non-

farkle Moon Man site but he wasn't known as Moon Man then). Credit goes to filibuster.

June 20, 2007 - First Moon Man site to feature the now legendary "KKK" chant.

July 25, 2007 - First Moon Man spinoff created, mixing Moon Man with the "Bomb In The Lasagna" fad. Credit

goes to peesauce.

September 3, 2007 - First major Moon Man song created, featuring Moon Man rapping to the Lil Scrappy song

"Money In The Bank." This song was inspired by the original song, in which Lil Scrappy says "Okay-kay-kay!" Credit goes to

hypersaxon.

September 11, 2007 - A rarely used Moon Man GIF was used for this site, featuring Moon Man playing

the Saxophone. This GIF was borrowed by user WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW for a shortly lived spin-off on the Moon Man

fad.

December 17, 2007 - Peanut Butter Moon Man dancing banana GIF is created. Credit goes to

hypersaxon.

January 6, 2008 - farkle's final Moon Man site. He was apparently banned 10 days later.

March 19, 2008 - Spinoff Moon Man fad created with "KKK" replaced by other phrases with "K" in it.

Credit goes to Mordrach.

May 14, 2008 - Moon Man gets mad because somebody deleted this Wiki that I spent many hours making, and now I

have to make it again so thanks a lot jerkwads. Credit goes to Goneja for caring.

May 28, 2008 - Spinoff fad featuring Audrina Patridge from The Hills talking with AT&T Crystal's voice.

She also chants "KKK!" at the end, however she reveals that it stands for "Kute Kittie Kat" in a later site. Credit goes to

hypersaxon.

April 22, 2008 - Spinoff fad featuring kratospwnstheworld.ytmnd.com but replaced everything

with moon man. Credit goes to k0mputer.
