Profile

The Ultimate Suffering is a Hall of Fame YTMND based on The Cake Song fad. The YTMND created by Syncan parodies Westly's torture scene from The Princess Bride by having "Cooking by the Book" blasted at top volume into Westly's ears.

Background

In the original movie, Westly was tied to a machine designed to suck the life out of the person strapped to it. The machine has a slider which measures the amount of pain to give to the victim. Prince Humperdinck pulled that meter to "50"— its highest level, saying that "no man in a century will suffer as greatly as [he] will". The screams from Westly are heard from a nearby village, where Inigo comments "Do you hear that Fezzik? That is the sound of ultimate suffering."

Instead of having the machine suck the life out of someone, the YTMND plays "Cooking by the Book" at top volume; the song (using echo effects) is heard from the village instead.
