'''Sonic Says...''' is created by the user AndyAML. It was created on August 18, 2004, and is the inspiration for the "[[Sonic Advice]]" fad that warns against pedophilia and sexual abuse. Its components are a picture of a woozy Sonic with Tails holding his shoulders from the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon, sound from a "Sonic Says" segment from the cartoon, and text that reads, "That's NO GOOD."  All are from the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog episode entitled "Lovesick Sonic".

Although this site was created in August 2004, the "Sonic Advice" fad itself didn't really get started until about early June of 2005. People would try to reword the segment to make it sound like he's saying something else. It has since become one of the most popular YTMND fads and continue to spawn sites every so and often.

Sonic Says... is created by the user AndyAML. It was created on August 18, 2004, and is the inspiration for the "Sonic Advice" fad that warns against pedophilia and sexual abuse.

The skit is included on Volume 2 of the YTMND Soundtrack.

PTKFGS

The PTKFGS equivalent of this fad is called "Shadow gives orders", which shows Sonic's rival Shadow giving out orders rather than advice.
Another version is called "Yakko Says...". It features the Animaniacs character Yakko giving advice about playing with giant bugs.

Legal Fire

Max recieved a legal action letter from Sega on January 11, 2007. In response, Max encouraged YTMNDers to "feel free to let Sega know how much you all appreciate them shitting on their target audience". This renewed the Sonic says... fad, as users started adding sites where Sonic gives legal advice. It also sparked off the creation of general anti-Sega sites, as well as a small resergence of other fads (Such as LOL, and NEDM)
